#160275091
The Hsinbyeme Pagoda (also Myatheindan Pagoda) is a large white pagoda directly north of the Mingun Pahtodawgyi. It was built in 1816 by King Bagyidaw and is modeled on the physical attributes of the mythological Buddhist mountain Mount Meru. It consists of seven concentric terraces representing the seven mountain ranges going up to Mount Meru. It was damaged in the 1836 earthquake and restored by King Mindon in 1974.
