Nyatapola Temple Statue

Nyatapola Temple, the tallest building in the Bhaktapur with its unique five roofs, was founded in 1702 A.D by King Bhupatindra Malla, with construction so well done that even the earthquake of 1934 A.D caused only upper level damage. It has statues of the wrestlers Jaya Malla and Patha Malla, elephants, lions,griffins, and the godesses Baghini as a tiger and Singhini as a lion.
